Short-Stay Rehab
Post-hospital rehab to support recovery at Vincentian Home (McCandless).
Personal Care
Help with daily tasks, meals, and social activities at Vincentian Home Personal Care (McCandless) & Vincentian Schenley Gardens (Oakland).
Memory Care
Structured programs for Alzheimer’s/dementia at Vincentian Home Personal Care (McCandless) & Vincentian Schenley Gardens (Oakland).
Long-Term Care
24/7 nursing and support for medical or cognitive needs at Vincentian Home (McCandless).

Intergenerational practice is for everyone, and Vincentian is proud to be a catalyst for change in how senior living, senior care, childcare, college life, and everything and everyone in between reimagines community and recognizes the value of bringing people together across generations.
An Intergenerational Vision
Vincentian creates intergenerational spaces where children, students, adults, and caregivers interact through planned and spontaneous activities. Guided by research, these spaces foster connections across generations—physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
Following Dr. Matt Kaplan’s research, Vincentian evaluates programs using the Five Rs: Roles, Relationships, Reciprocity, Recognition, and Responsiveness.
Students
Since opening in 2019, Vincentian Terrace Place has partnered with LaRoche University undergraduates, who live rent-free in exchange for weekly time with older adults. At Vincentian Schenley Gardens, a similar partnership with Chatham University allows select graduate students discounted apartments in exchange for 16 hours of monthly programming.

A senior living community for residents ages 55 and older, Vincentian Villa is part of Vincentian Home’s continuing care retirement community, or CCRC. Our campus features two-bedroom apartments and patio homes.
