Vincentian Child Discovery Centers
Planned and unplanned explorations are the foundation of young children’s learning. Our teaching staff helps children by both supporting their social and emotional development while also providing a variety of experiences for learning and development. Vincentian Child Discovery Center endeavors to provide a homelike, cheerful, spiritual, and educational atmosphere to contribute to the promotion and preservation of the personal integrity of each child.
Our Programs
Since young children learn through experiencing their world, the children are provided plenty of free play opportunities in addition to planned, teacher-facilitated activities. The classrooms are all equipped with developmentally appropriate toys that will help them to develop skills.
Our Philosophy
By focusing on the needs and development of the “whole child”, we offer a program that stimulates each child’s development: socially, intellectually, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Applications and Rates
At Vincentian Child Discovery Center, we believe transparency is paramount. Below you can view an application for enrollment, and see our full rate sheets at both VCDC McCandless and VCDC Greentree.
Care Where You Live and Work
With two convenient locations in Pittsburgh, we offer care where you live and work. Our McCandless location is situated conveniently off of McKnight Road near Peebles Road. The Greentree location is tucked away near a residential neighborhood off of Greentree Road, not far from the parkway.
